Privacy Notice
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Guests can read lessons and try quiz questions, but no lesson-completion progress is saved. When you sign in, your completion progress is stored in your own Supabase record and can sync between devices. Older versions used browser local storage; the updated website clears those legacy progress entries when loaded.
Once a logged-in student passes a final course assessment, they may optionally submit a display name, rating and review. The submission is stored privately in Supabase and can only be published after manual approval by CyberGeek Podcast. One submission per qualifying student and course is allowed. Do not enter passwords or sensitive information in feedback.
For privacy requests, use the official CyberGeek Podcast contact channels. This is a preliminary policy that should be reviewed before broad public launch.
Optional student accounts and cloud progress
If you sign in with Google or register using email and a password, Supabase Auth manages your sign-in credentials and processes account information such as email address and user ID. Email registration also collects your first and last name for your learner profile; passwords are not stored in the Academy learning-progress tables, and your lesson progress is stored in a student-specific database record. Login is optional; free guest lessons remain accessible. Identity providers process information under their own privacy policies. Contact CyberGeek Podcast through official channels to ask about deletion of account data. This feature is active only when configured.
